Coaching is a tool that can change your life - if you come to it when you're "ready." In this See for Free I discuss the differences between the two modalities of Coaching and Therapy, and when they are called for in a person's life.
I make the analogy of a swimmer: when we are just trying to stay afloat, it's not the time to talk about moving forward (Coaching), but rather the time to have someone throw us a buoy (Therapy) so we can catch our breath, and regain some strength. And then, when we have enough power to move forward, we start swimming (Coaching).
I am a huge fan of both modalities, and believe it's hugely important for both the client and the practitioner to recognize where they are at, and follow the most appropriate path. Coaches need to recognize when a client needs deeper-level work than we're trained to provide, and therapists will do well to set their clients "free" when they're ready to launch into powerful, new places.
Stress? Yes. We all have it. Perhaps constantly, perhaps from time to time. We live with it, but it doesn't mean it has to get the better of us. This quick coaching session will give you a couple super-powerful tools to help you clear through the craziness and begin to get back to the "you" who's underneath all that strain.
This week's "See For Free" Energy Coaching episode is a response to the following:
Thanks for doing this - what a great thing! I have a question about how to stay positive in the midst of so much negativity. Whether it's at work, the news, or just listening as I go through the world. I feel like there's so much heavy, and angry stuff out there, and it brings me down. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
If you have a question you would like to submit, please do so here and I will do my best to get you into an episode of See for Free.
This week's question:
"How do I live an empowered life everyday of my calling actualising my potential with abundance of all the right things - relationships, a life partner, career, prosperity, spirituality etc for my highest good, truth and well being? Gratitude."
